Motivation and engagement
Teenagers told us that they felt a lack of purpose and motivation during lockdown, and the loss of their normal routine meant they were trying to figure out a routine that would work for them.
Some will likely have found the adjustment back to face-to-face education and lessons quite challenging, while those engaging in remote learning (consistently or due to quarantining) may find it hard to manage their own time and feel motivated.
