Relationships and connections

Teenagers told us that relationships have been incredibly important to them during pandemic restrictions, but they were often feeling disconnected from others.

With all the uncertainty and change that the pandemic has brought, support from other people has been key for many for their psychological wellbeing.

However, touch and proximity are important features of human relationships, and social distancing restrictions have sometimes meant teenagers felt less close to their friends or nervous about their social skills.
