Impact and legacy
Findings will be of specific importance to urban practitioners, public health and social service providers, community stakeholders, and local and national policymakers, especially those working in the fields of economics, public health, and social care. Policymakers often require place-specific evidence bases for implementing new policies.
The aim is to help ensure that future cities:
- Are better prepared for health and social care planning;
- Experience increased health equity and social justice;
- Are easier to live in during times of crisis.
To achieve this, the project team works with stakeholders to consider the complex systems and processes involved in delivering and centring health within policy and planning for urban crises.
